Roadbed and General Maintenance
The roadbed is constantly in need of maintenance as are all our buildings. Maine winters are not kind to paint and the buildings themselves need annual work just to stay ready for visitors. Some of this work requires lifting and just plain muscle power to straighten track and re-guage it to the correct two feet. Our switch stands shown need lubrication and paint to protect them and make them look sharp. As before, please express your specific interest via email.
